My Digital Media Class Update

My digital media class presented their first full length 20 minute video entitled Celebration of Cultural Diversity. It was fantastic with some minor audio difficulties. The project focused on all cultures in our school with every student's country being represented by flags which now hand in our cafeteria. We used free software "GIMP" to layer images to design beautiful images from each country. Moviemaker was used to incorporate video and audio. Videos were taken of students from the different countries they represent and each shared their story. We have not entered the audio unit yet but did pretty well. We are using Avid Technology for green screen effects and this was a true challenge to say the least but of course the students pulled it off.
