Ted Robinson says Schools Kill Creativity (humorous and true)

  1. (It's hard for me to get past the comment about retiring in 2065. Wow!) I found many truths in the video, and his humor was quite different. I wouldn't say that we are killing creativity, but I would say that we are limiting creativity. When he talked about the art, music, etc., I think about the push for core subjects and especially the new requirement for all to pass Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. This is a reflection on advanced studies and not on creativity. Our bodies probably are viewed as transport systems for our heads. I doubt many have ever thought of it like that, but now that it has been pointed out for us, it makes sense. This video was thought provoking to say the least.
